We are seeking to hire aPart-Qualified/Qualified Accountantin ourWaterford Cityoffice.
Full time hours: 37.5 hrs per week (in office work only). Working hours areMonday- Thursday 8.30am to 5pmFriday 8.30am-2pm. Full time/part time role open to discussion for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Management of multiple jobs ensuring the keyobjectivesare delivered asrequiredandin a timelymanner
- Experience of preparing and/or reviewing of VAT PAYE income tax & corporation tax returns.
- Liaise with clients on queries relating to Revenue requirements Companies Registration Office (CRO) filings and Irish GAAP/FRS 102/FRS 105
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Compliance with Irish tax legislation filing deadlines and regulatory standards.
- Excellent knowledge of BRIGHT Accounts Production AUTOENTRY SAGE
Candidate Profile:
- Resident of Ireland
- Minimum 4 years experience in an Irish Accounting practice (Essential)
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients on your portfolio
- Self-motivation and capability of working on your owninitiative
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Committed to obtaining a professionalqualification
- Be a natural team player comfortable working closely in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure prioritise tasks and focus on meeting deadlines
- Experience of working on audit assignments desirable
