What Youll Do as a Senior Drafter:

• Prepare & revise construction plans using standard layouts sketches and specifications.
• Review plans to ensure they meet municipal requirements and internal drafting standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and vendors on truss beam and plan approvals.
• Maintain & update the companys standard plan library.
• Lead & participate in plan reviews to keep projects accurate and on track.
• Assist with project assignments and support the development of newer drafters.
• Step in for the Director of Residential Design and Drafting when needed.

Our Ideal Senior Drafter:

• Experienced: 5 years in residential drafting (new home construction preferred); associates in CAD or residential architecture preferred; strong AutoCAD skills required and Revit preferred; comfortable with Microsoft Office and drafting software.
• Independent & Self-motivated: Works without constant oversight takes ownership and keeps work moving.
• Detail-oriented: Produces accurate work and follows standards without things slipping through the cracks.
• Creative Thinker: Works through design and layout challenges with practical well-thought-out solutions.
• Excellent Communicator: Clear professional and easy to work with while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Physical Requirements: Able to sit for extended periods occasionally walk job sites lift up to 25 lbs. and work in construction environments with required PPE when needed.

• Full-time onsite (40 hours with optional overtime available)
• $35-$38/hour overtime depending on experience
