LanChester Grill & Hearth has been helping customers create beautiful indoor and outdoor living spaces since 1996 offering fireplaces grills stoves and outdoor kitchens. As a faith-based family-run company the team is committed to doing the job right treating people well and building lasting relationships with customers and each other.
What Youll Do as a Framer / Installer:
- Prep job sites for fireplace or stove projects including removing existing units.
- Frame & modify openings as needed to support new systems.
- Remove or work around materials such as stone or brick when required.
- Run gas lines and complete light electrical work for new appliances.
- Set & connect fireplaces stoves and related components during installation.
- Run venting through sidewalls chimneys or roofs as required.
- Build & fit fireplace cabinets and finish work in existing homes.
- Keep job sites clean and leave each space as you would your own home.
- Travel locally to job sites typically within a 40-mile radius.
Our Ideal Framer / Installer:
- Experienced: 2-5 years in construction carpentry HVAC handyman or similar hands-on work; mechanically inclined with the ability to work with tools systems and basic jobsite problem-solving; familiar with framing basics and able to work through structural or layout challenges.
- Willing to Learn: Open to training and certification in the fireplace industry (company-paid with bonus upon completion).
- Adaptable: Able to think on your feet adjust to changing job site conditions and solve problems as they come up.
- Detail-oriented: Takes pride in clean finished work and keeps job sites in better condition than they were found.
- Good Communicator: Professional respectful and clear with customers and team members.
- Active: Able to lift up to 125 lbs. climb ladders and work comfortably on roofs when needed.
What We Offer Our Framer / Installer:
- Full-time approximately 45 hours per week (Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM; winter hours 6:30 AM-5:00 PM)
- $25-$28 per hour depending on experience
- Health insurance reimbursement ($400/month)
- Paid time off

- Employee discount on company products (30% or more depending on supplier)
