Pega Senior Developer

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2 your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package based on detailed business requirements
Develop and integrate new features into existing applications conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces executing ETL processes and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill and Experience
Design develop and implement enterprise-grade applications using Pega PRPC in accordance with Pega Guardrails and best practices
Lead development activities within Agile/Scrum teams including sprint planning estimation design reviews and retrospectives
Translate business requirements into scalable Pega solution designs including case types data models flows UI rules and integrations
Develop reusable Pega components and frameworks to improve delivery efficiency and consistency
Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure alignment with solution architecture and enterprise standards
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Support integration with external systems using REST/SOAP services and message-based architectures
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and performance issues
Participate actively in design build testing and deployment phases of the project lifecycle
Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds and deployments
Engage with stakeholders and clients providing technical input and participating in solution discussions and proposals

Preferred Skill and Experience
Strong understanding of Pega Case Management Decisioning and UI frameworks
Experience with Pega integrations (REST SOAP file-based and JMS)
Working knowledge of Pega Dev Studio and App Studio
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar automation platforms
Familiarity with Git or other source control systems
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL concepts
Exposure to performance tuning and production support in Pega applications
Experience using JIRA and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools

Additional Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
