Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and Assessment:Assess patient conditions upon arrival taking vital signs and prioritizing care based on urgency.
- Patient Stabilization:Administer medications initiate IVs perform wound care and provide life-saving interventions.
- Care Coordination:Collaborate with physicians specialists and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate timely patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Patient/Family Education:Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Safety and Dignity:Adhere to evidence-based protocols to uphold safety standards while maintaining a supportive and dignified environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education:Registered Nurse (RN) License preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience:Previous Emergency Department or acute care experience is preferred.
- Skills:Strong critical thinking emergency preparedness stress management and clinical technical skills.
