Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose
The Designer will be responsible for preparing 3D models and drawings in CREO along with
BoM (bill of material) for assembled equipment involving welded/machined frames and
machined components of machines used in steel plants.

The Designer will be responsible for preparing 3D models and drawings in CREO along with
BoM (bill of material) for assembled equipment involving welded/machined frames and
machined components of machines used in steel plants.
Position profile
- Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment
- Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting engineer/ manager
- Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping
- Preparation of Bill of Material (BoM)
- ITI draftsman or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience required
- A thorough hand on experience on preparation of 3D models drawings in CREO and AutoCAD are must. Candidate must have been working on CREO continuously atleast for last 2 years or atleast 3 years if worked in past (not more than 1 year)
- Good knowledge of dimensioning.
- Familiarity with machining and assembly processes of heavy machinery/EPC domain.
- Good Knowledge of Fits/Tolerances and Geometric Tolerances.
- Knowledge of various bought out parts involved in moving and rotating machines.
- Able to communicate/report technical challenges effectively with the reporting engineer/manager.
