Summary: As an Application Support Engineer a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems analyzing system behavior and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user feedback to maintain service reliability and support business continuity through timely resolution of technical challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities: -Hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration (users roles ACLs upgrades performance tuning).-Strong knowledge of HRSD applications data models lifecycle events and HR workflows.-Proven experience with REST/SOAP integrations OAuth SAML MID Servers and API orchestration.-Experience with IntegrationHub and HRSD-related integration spokes (Oracle HCM FTP etc.) is strongly preferred.-Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules (ITSM ITOM).-Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform including user management roles groups and access controls.-Diagnose and resolve production issues perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable long-term solutions.-Design develop and configure ServiceNow HRSD solutions including Case Management Knowledge Management Employee/Alumni Center Lifecycle Events and HR Services.-Build enhance and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise HR systems (e.g. Oracle HCM Active Directory Navex and identity platforms).-Develop and support APIs and integrations including REST/SOAP web services --IntegrationHub spokes MID Server connections and data import/export processes.-Write efficient JavaScript-based solutions leveraging Flow Designer Business Rules Script Includes and UI Policies to meet business requirements
.Professional & Technical Skills: -3 years of hands-on ServiceNow platform development experience preferably with HRSD.- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to enterprise software environments.- Experience in incident management and root cause analysis within complex IT systems.- Ability to work with various modules and components of ServiceNow to support business processes.- Familiarity with IT service management principles and best practices.
Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
