We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable HVAC Sales Technician to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with sales skills to assess customer needs recommend appropriate heating and cooling solutions and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is customer-focused detail-oriented and experienced in HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with residential and/or commercial clients to evaluate HVAC needs and provide tailored solutions
- Perform in-home or on-site assessments including load calculations and system inspections
- Present and explain product options pricing and financing plans to customers
- Prepare accurate estimates proposals and sales contracts
- Maintain knowledge of HVAC products industry trends and energy-efficient solutions
- Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Follow up with leads and maintain strong customer relationships
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and local regulations
Requirements and amp; Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or technical certification preferred)
- Proven experience in HVAC sales service or installation
- Strong understanding of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic load calculations
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer skills
- EPA certification (preferred or required depending on role)

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and rebates
