Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer this role you will respond to situations with integrity work as part of a team and bring a reliable caring and innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds perimeter areas and/or controlled access points helping to identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor movement through restricted areas verify credentials and/or authorization as required and support access control processes for staff contractors and approved visitors.
• Assist with emergency situations alarms medical calls and/or transportation-related activity while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
