Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee nursing operations within a skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care maintaining regulatory compliance and managing nursing staff and clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the nursing department
• Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
• Ensure compliance with all state federal and facility regulations
• Manage staffing scheduling and workflow efficiency
• Oversee resident care planning implementation and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians administrators and interdisciplinary teams
• Promote a culture of patient safety accountability and clinical excellence
• Address clinical and operational challenges in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state (required)
• Prior leadership experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Strong leadership organizational and management skills
• Ability to manage short-term or interim assignments effectively
• Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced clinical environment
