Contract: 210 Days
The Principal shall:
1. Interpret enforce and develop regulations that are in agreement with Board Policies the School Handbook and State/Federal law.
2. Provide leadership in the recruitment of staff.
3. Provide leadership for and share responsibility for the development and implementation of staff in-service programs.
4. Promote staff professional growth cooperation and self-development.
5. Supervise and evaluate staff performance.
6. Administer the master agreements in his/her assigned building.
7. Develop maintain evaluate implement and enhance curricular and extracurricular programs.
8. Provide leadership for the planning development and implementation of the curriculum.
9. Use a systematic plan of checks and balances when preparing and supervising the buildings budget.
10. Foster good school-community relations by keeping the community aware and responsive.
11. Plan organize and supervise recognition programs for school activities.
12. Provide educational and administrative leadership in making and carrying out decisions for the building.
