Job Summary

Job Title: Arabic Language Teacher

Location: Dhahran
Nationality: Saudi

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Arabic language (beginner to advanced levels) on an individual or group basis
  • Develop lesson plans teaching materials and course outlines
  • Apply modern teaching methods including aural-oral techniques (preferred)
  • Assess students through assignments presentations and formal evaluations
  • Monitor and report student academic progress and behavior
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance
  • Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation
  • Participate in staff meetings training sessions and professional development
  • Collaborate with teaching teams and contribute to curriculum development
  • Support and guide Teacher Assistants when required

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Arabic Language (mandatory)
  • Minimum: 60 semester hours or 2 years post-secondary education (if applicable)

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and English (reading writing speaking)
  • Strong knowledge of Arabic grammar and literature
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong planning organizational and assessment skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
