Security Guard Security Officer

Reliable Security Staffing LLC is seeking professional reliable and vigilant Security Guards / Security Officers to join our growing this role you will be responsible for protecting client properties assets employees and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

As a Security Officer you will serve as a visible deterrent to unauthorized activity and play a key role in preventing incidents before they occur. This position requires a high level of integrity situational awareness and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Safety and Security Monitoring

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of premises
• Monitor surveillance systems alarms and access control points
• Identify and report suspicious activities hazards or security breaches
• Enforce company policies procedures and client-specific rules

Access Control

• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification and credentials
• Maintain visitor logs and issue access passes or badges
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas
• Screen visitors vendors and contractors as required

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and incidents
• De-escalate conflicts and manage disturbances professionally
• Contact emergency services (police fire medical) when necessary
• Provide first response support until appropriate authorities arrive

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed daily activity reports and incident reports
• Document observations actions taken and any irregularities
• Maintain accurate logs of patrols inspections and security checks
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel

Customer Service

• Provide courteous assistance to clients employees and visitors
• Answer questions and provide directions when needed
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times
• Represent Reliable Security Staffing LLC in a positive manner

Emergency Preparedness

• Follow established emergency procedures and protocols
• Assist with evacuations lockdowns and safety drills
• Remain alert and prepared to act during emergencies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security guard license (as required by state or local regulations)
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Basic computer skills for report writing and system monitoring
• Physical ability to stand walk and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in security law enforcement or military service
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and access control technology
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Customer service experience in a security or related field
