Job Summary
Control Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on advancing process automation solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas Petrochemicals Utilities and Renewable Energy. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects involving integrated control systems SCADA automation and telecommunications to drive operational excellence.
What Youll Lead and Deliver
- Design and implement hardware for specialized control systems including Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS) with a focus on Allen-Bradley platforms
- Develop and program DCS/PLC/SCADA/PMS systems including HMI development
- Ensure adherence to major industrial standards throughout all project phases
- Apply strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation including working principles and system functionality
- Analyze and interpret customer specifications such as Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es) and related technical documentation
- Support staging testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) including workstation setup panel verification I/O wiring checks and PLC/HMI functionality testing
To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Electronics or a related engineering field
- 13 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley or similar control systems
- Experience in hardware design for DCS SIS and FGS systems
- Understanding of full project lifecycle: design procurement implementation testing FAT installation commissioning and handover
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards instrumentation and control system principles
- Experience with system testing FAT commissioning and startup activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and explain technical information
