Opportunity: Seasonal PM Food Runner (May 1st 2026 - October 31st 2026)
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Food Runner to join the team at Rowes Wharf Sea Grille located in the prestigious Boston Harbor HotelBostons only Forbes Five-Star waterfront hotel. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role supports the service team in maintaining a Five-Star standard by upholding cleanliness presentation and timing in every aspect of food delivery.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
This is a full-time role candidates must have flexible availability to fulfill this role.
Experience:
Must have at least (1) or more years of experience in a Full-Service Restaurant with a combination of previous Food & Beverage experience in a Luxury Environment preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely accurate and efficient manner. Ensure that food presentation meets restaurant standards and confirm order accuracy before delivery.
- Assist servers and kitchen staff with coordination and communication to ensure high-quality service.
- Support table setup and clearing between courses or after meals as needed. Refill water bread and condiments throughout the guests dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and the expo line. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean work environment. Demonstrate teamwork professionalism and a service-first attitude at all times.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to performance of key responsibilities this position may be required to possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service-ware.
- Must be able to speak read write and understand the primary language used in the workplace. Require good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a regular and continuous basis.
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language. A second language is desirable.
