Teaching Positions in Mathematics or Statistics
Penn State Altoona invites applications for one or more full-time Non-Tenure-Line Instructor or Open Rank Teaching Professor positions in Mathematics or Statistics. This position is a 12-month 36-week non-tenure track appointment for fall and spring semesters beginning Fall 2026. The initial appointments are for one year with a possibility of continuance.
Qualifications and Teaching Responsibilities: Primary duties include teaching mathematics and statistics courses as needed by the department. Candidates must possess a minimum of an M.S. or Ph.D. in either Mathematics or Statistics. Qualified candidates in all areas of mathematics and statistics will be considered.
Other Responsibilities: Engage in scholarly activities to stay current in the discipline; participate in curriculum and course assessment undergraduate academic advising and perform academic reviews; participate in campus university and professional service activities and outreach to the community.
