Schedule & Call Requirements
Day Shift: 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 AM 05:30 PM)
On-call: Every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 17:30 Monday 07:00)
Schedule flexibility required in a high-acuity trauma setting
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join a high-acuity IR team within a Level I trauma and stroke center. The IR Tech will support a wide range of peripheral and neurovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety procedural efficiency and high-quality imaging outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate in peripheral and neurovascular interventional procedures
Assist with angiograms angioplasty stent placements embolizations and vascular access procedures
Support advanced procedures including nephrostomy drainages IVC filters and thrombectomy cases
Assist in trauma stroke pulmonary embolism (PE) and other emergent IR interventions
Ensure proper equipment setup operation and maintenance during procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to imaging and procedural protocols
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and IR team members in a fast-paced environment
Follow strict safety infection control and regulatory standards
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Active ARRT certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
Strong experience scrubbing peripheral and neurovascular IR cases
Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment
Excellent teamwork communication and critical thinking skills
