POSITIONDESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Municipal Engineer. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil municipal and environmental projects. We are looking for a Professional Engineer who would work with CAD Technicians Construction Observers Land Survey Chiefs and office staff in various capacities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
- Prepare ormodifyplans specifications construction schedules permits andcost and quantity estimatesfor public worksprojects.
- WorkwithConstructionObservers/ResidentTechniciansduringallfacetsofconstruction.
- Assist Project Manager in completing project within budget and on schedule.
- Clientcontactincludingattendanceatboard orcouncilmeetings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required.
- Minimum10yearsofcivilengineeringdesignexperiencepreferred/desired.
- IowaPE licenseor ability toobtainwithin1yearpreferred.
- Previousroadwaystormsewersanitarycollectionsewersandwaterdistributiondesignexperiencedesired.
- Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsrequired.
Following an offer candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive background check.
