Key Responsibilities

Support 5 Ss activities on the shop floor labeling racks color-coding tools in assembly mark floor for Material staging areas.

Support Productivity Improvement Data Analysis

Support developing Standardized Work being able to record daily tasks

Support 5Ss Global Assessment Deployment

Helping to ensure projects are completed on time.

Competencies and Behaviors

Computer proficient (Excel Word Outlook etc.)

Simulation Software Arena FlexSim etc.

Experience and/or knowledge on Time and Motions Time Studies

Knowledge of basic lean tools 5Ss SMED Value Stream Map etc.

Generative AI: ChatGPT/LLMs for process documentation.

Experience and/or knowledge working in or around machine shop or machining is a plus

Qualifications and Experience:

An in-process bachelors degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering. Ability to work with people in an industrial environment.
