Data Warehouse Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop Test Debug and Implement analytic solutions for all business processes in SAP BW and SAP Analytics cloud systems integrating with SAP ECC Retail and SAP portal systems.
• Manage end to end activities of integrated global business analytics solution developments
• Perform fit-gap analysis of the business requirements and system capabilities
• Plan Manage and Lead testing efforts troubleshoot and debug solutions (process application configuration and/or development) to identify root causes and solve issues.
• Responsible for successful integration of development across all modules/systems that could be impacted.
• Ensure that solution changes are transported / implemented into production environments without unintended impact on business units.
• Investigate complex SAP notes understand potential system impact and implement complex SAP notes.
• Support and Maintain the BI system performance integrity and reliability by performing activities including Monitoring and Tuning performance data loads process chains BI logs
• Monitor and maintain system activities with focus on interfaces batch jobs short dumps connectivity to internal and external systems.
• Guide and respond to business users of system use business processes testing and other system related inquiries.
• Self-manage Business process improvements. Plan milestones and deadlines and provide progress updates.
• Execute responsibilities in special projects and adhere to various project deadlines.
• Follow prescribed solution manager ITSM process Technical process (Change control Functional specs and Technical specs) and execute well defined testing plan to minimize overall solution effort.
• Develop programs for Reports Interfaces Conversions and Enhancements
• Design Develop test and Implement analytics data models that support analytics solutions
• Develop Test and Implement Programs in SAP BW environment using Data Services
• Other analytics solution development areas as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field MBA preferred

Experience:

• Participated in end to end SAP implementations.
• SAC implementation experience would be preferred.
• 7 years Advanced technical data modelling experience developing analytics solutions in SAP BW
• Experience with Initialization Delta and Full Data Extraction from different data sources using standard and custom data extractors
• Experience designing developing testing and implementing BI reports using BEX and Business Objects tools
• Experience supporting cross functional business processes with advanced analytics solutions
• Experience in ABAP coding of start and end routine and BADIs.
• Experience implementing BI data models including InfoObjects DSOs InfoCubes Infosets and Multiproviders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational/planning skills able to prioritize and work effectively in a fast paced environment multi-task
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Self-starter able to work independently
• Collaborative team player Customer focused
