AI & Cloud Solutions Architect with Generative AI, MLOps, and Enterprise Architecture

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled AI and Cloud Solutions Architect specializing in Generative AI cloud platforms and enterprise architecture. This leadership role involves guiding cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions designing scalable cloud infrastructure and aligning technology strategies with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise strategic vision and stakeholder management skills to drive enterprise AI adoption and ensure system reliability security and compliance supporting Synechrons growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Deep understanding of Generative AI models (e.g. GPT BERT diffusion models) and ML frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch OpenAI API

  • Cloud management platforms: AWS Azure or GCP with experience deploying and managing AI solutions at scale

  • Project management tools: Jira Confluence MS Project or similar

  • Architectural modeling and design tools (e.g. ArchiMate UML)

• Preferred:

  • Data management platforms (Snowflake Databricks)

  • Container orchestration: Kubernetes Docker Swarm

  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins GitLab CI/CD pipelines

  • Data Science tools: Jupyter MLFlow Hugging Face Hub

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to plan develop and deploy AI solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.

• Define and maintain a comprehensive AI and cloud technology roadmap ensuring strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in.

• Provide technical leadership mentoring and guidance on AI model development deployment and governance.

• Collaborate with business units to identify AI opportunities formulate project scope and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies making informed recommendations for adoption.

• Architect and oversee deployment of AI models and cloud infrastructure ensuring security scalability and compliance.

• Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and oversee technology procurement.

• Track project milestones evaluate outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Required: Python (TensorFlow PyTorch OpenAI API) Java (preferred for enterprise integration)

  • Preferred: Scala R Julia for specialized data science and ML tasks

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Required: Cloud data lakes Snowflake Databricks or other scalable data platforms

  • Preferred: NoSQL databases data warehouses big data processing systems

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Required: Cloud deployment management and scaling (AWS Azure GCP) for AI workloads

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Required: TensorFlow PyTorch MLFlow OpenAI APIs Hugging Face

  • Preferred: Kubeflow XAI frameworks (e.g. LIME SHAP)

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Required: DevOps pipelines (Jenkins GitLab) containerization (Docker Kubernetes) agile practices

  • Experience with MLOps for model deployment monitoring and lifecycle management

• Security & Compliance:

  • Implement best practices in data privacy (GDPR CCPA) and cybersecurity for AI systems.

Experience Requirements

• 8 years in AI cloud solutions and enterprise architecture.

• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide AI projects from conception through deployment.

• Strong background in designing scalable secure cloud infrastructure for AI solutions.

• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams of data scientists ML engineers and cloud engineers.

• Industry experience in finance banking or regulated sectors preferred.

• Alternative: Extensive experience in AI/ML architecture and leadership in complex large-scale environments.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead the design development and deployment of scalable AI models and cloud infrastructure.

• Guide teams through model training evaluation deployment and monitoring.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and develop technical roadmaps.

• Oversee AI system performance and security implementing improvements and updates.

• Evaluate new AI technologies tools and frameworks recommending adoption paths.

• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement aligned with project needs.

• Mentor teams promote best practices and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related field.

• Certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect) and AI (TensorFlow Azure AI Engineer) are advantageous.

• Proven success in deploying enterprise AI solutions at scale.

• Strong analytical strategic thinking and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
