As our Senior Tech Business Development Manager youll be the architect of building strategic partnerships with industry leading dealer groups. This isnt just another Tech Business Development role - its your chance to shape the future of a $1.5 trillion industry. Youll serve as a voice of Amazon Autos - both internally and externally - championing our vision and value proposition as we transform the greater automotive marketplace. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of recruiting high-value partners skillfully navigating objections and closing transformative deals. You will need strong attention to detail ability to effectively prioritize opportunities and proven success driving incremental growth. You will collaborate seamlessly with dealers business developers account managers product teams and senior leadership to collaboratively build the business.

You will leverage your deep automotive industry expertise and solution-oriented approach to unlock opportunities for Amazon Autos. * Drive growth by expanding our vehicle selection and dealer network coverage
* Navigate complexity by influencing diverse stakeholders - from dealership owners to Amazon senior leadership
* Spot opportunities before others do leveraging your deep business development and automotive industry knowledge
* Build lasting relationships that transform how dealers think about digital retail advertising and customer acquisition

A day in the life
Your morning might start with a video call with a major dealer group in Baltimore walking them through Amazon Autos value proposition and addressing their questions about the digital retail experience. Youll leverage data analytics to show them how Amazon Autos can expand their reach. By mid-morning youre collaborating with our product team sharing dealer feedback that could influence our roadmap. Youre the bridge between what dealers need and what were building - and your insights directly shape our product.

After lunch youre on a webinar with a leading OEMs franchise dealer network. Youll spend the next two days networking with dealer principals OEM executives and industry leaders building relationships that will become tomorrows partnerships. Between meetings youre analyzing your pipeline strategizing with business development leaders about how to accelerate deals and preparing a presentation for senior leadership on your quarterly growth strategy. Youre moving fast making decisions with incomplete information and loving every minute of the startup energy.
Friday afternoon you close a partnership with a 35-location dealer group - a deal youve been nurturing for weeks. Its a game-changer for our coverage in the Northeast and you immediately start thinking about how to replicate this success in other regions.

- 5 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5 years of professional or military experience
- 5 years of Go-To-Market Business Development Sales or Consulting experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying negotiating and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience developing leading negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical dental vision prescription Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans EAP Mental Health Support Medical Advice Line Flexible Spending Accounts Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage) 401(k) matching paid time off and parental leave.
