Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC isa detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support physician billing operations. This role involves processing claims verifying insurance coverage ensuring accurate coding and documentation and supporting timely reimbursement in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Submit and process electronic and paper claims for physician billing
Verify billing accuracy including ICD-10 and CPT coding
Perform insurance verification and follow up on claims payments and denials
Serve as a point of contact for patient billing inquiries and outstanding balances
Review patient records and documentation for completeness and compliance
Coordinate authorizations and referrals to ensure timely claim processing
Audit patient charts and maintain logs reports and billing records
Collaborate with physicians and providers to resolve coding or documentation issues
Manage daily mail reporting and administrative billing tasks
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards
Deliver excellent customer service to patients and internal teams
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of healthcare billing or coding experience
Knowledge of ICD-10 CPT coding and medical billing processes
Experience with insurance verification claims processing and AR follow-up
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and billing software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of medical billing and revenue cycle processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation review
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
