Jr. Jet Engine Mechanics Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated Jr. Jet Engine Mechanics Internto work in our Wilmington Ohio Aerospace Engine facility. The intern will work closely with our engineering team to support various projects related to aviation engine repair and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic aviation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of engine performance data and trends
• Support the engineering team in conducting engine inspections and evaluations
• Assist in the development of repair and maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize engine performance and reliability
• Support the implementation of engineering changes and improvements
• Assist in the evaluation of new technologies and materials for engine repair and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) is a plus
• Knowledge of aviation engine systems and components is preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
