By providing hands-on training and career preparation we not only help our students discover new passions we help ensure each Davies graduate has the academic background and technical skills needed for future is hiring a full-time Advanced manufacturing Instructor!Qualifications-RI Teacher Certification: CTE Entry-level Machinist/Manufacturing or certificate eligible-Five years of relevant work experience-Teaching experience preferred-Masters degree preferred-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptableEssential Duties/Responsibilities-Develop and implement an effective Advanced Manufacturing program including theory and labs that facilitate meaningful learning in the core competencies of the curriculum-Maintain student record including grades attendance and performance measures that assess and improve student learning-Foster a safe and productive learning environment-Facilitate program advisory board meetings-Support student career readiness and Work-Based Learning experiences-Maintain knowledge of best practices in and current industry standards-Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Understanding Required-Communicates and collaborates effectively with students families and colleagues -Know and understand industry recognized credentials and industry standardsPhysical Demands-The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
