Senior Cyber Range Systems Engineer

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking aSenior Cyber Range Systems Engineerto support the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Eglin Site Services contract. This role provides senior-level technical leadership across cyber range infrastructure event environments and system integration efforts supporting Department of Defense cyber test and training operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Providetechnical leadership and oversightacross cyber range engineering activities
• Lead thedesign integration configuration and validationof environments across IDE and EES systems
• Support thefull event lifecycle including environment build execution troubleshooting and post-event activities
• Ensure engineering efforts align withPWS requirements and contract scope
• Collaborate with Event Designers Cyber Support Teams and Government stakeholders to deliver mission-ready environments
• Overseeautomation and deployment processesto improve efficiency and repeatability
• Supportcybersecurity best practices including system hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Develop and maintaintechnical documentation and system artifacts
• Identify technical risks and implementpractical mitigation strategies
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices

• Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 812 years of relevant experience in systems engineering network engineering or cyber range operations
• Strong experience with:
• System integration and environment configuration
• Virtualized environments and enterprise infrastructure
• Network architecture and troubleshooting
• Experience supportingDoD cyber test or training environments
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced mission-driven environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Experience supportingNCRC or similar cyber range environments
• Experience withhybrid cloud architecture (AWS Azure or GCP) preferably in DoD or secured environments
• Familiarity withDigital Engineering concepts including Digital Twins and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience withautomation and large-scale environment deployment
• Prior experience in atechnical lead role

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
