As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in Ashburn VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. At this government location Allied Universal officers monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents manage access points and support visitors and staff with professional customer service and clear communication. This role offers the chance to use your people skills and technology experience while working with a team that is agile reliable innovative and guided by integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require security-related attention.
• Monitor entrances common areas and other assigned locations for policy compliance visitor management activity and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support day-to-day operations by providing directions assisting with authorized access procedures and reporting maintenance access and/or security-related concerns according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
