Job Summary
Open until filled.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching life skills and sportsmanship
- Supporting the athletes schooling grades and attendance
- Overseeing eligibility -Registering each individual athlete for gamesand deciding who will be competing
- Designing workouts that will prepare the athletes for competition
- Recognizing which events each individual will participate in to benefit both them and the team
- Continue learning more and updating techniques
- Organizing and overseeing conditioning practices and games
- Knowing the rules and regulations ofthe sport
- Attending coaches meetings
- Issuing and collecting uniforms
- Fundraising
- Providing forms and information on athletes to the athletic director
- Attending trainings such as CPR and first aid
- Providing announcements on the teams and athletes performances to the school and the Reaper
- Handling of finances (budgeting)
- Keeping track of equipment and making sure it is in condition to be used in competition
- Upholding the standards of the school at practice and competition
