Whitehorse City Council proudly manages Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading state-of-the-art facilities that are leaders in the provision of leisure and aquatic services in the Eastern Region of Melbourne.

The role:

The position will contribute to the operation of a multi-faceted leisure facility through the provision of supervisory duties to ensure a high level of patron safety and supervision.

About you:

  • Thorough understanding of the processes and procedures used within a leisure facility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to enable positive interaction with and gain cooperation and assistance from patrons and other employees.
  • Ability to provide direction leadership and on the job training and assist other employees in their duties where required including assisting in the development and monitoring of staff training and personal development through on-shift coaching and support.
  • Understanding of pool plant operations.
  • Ability to multi task and deal with competing demands and definitive time lines for task completion
  • Availability during business hours and occasionally outside of business hours (opens closes weekends).
  • Required for on call and rotational weekends please see below.

Work Schedule for the role is:

Aqualink Nunawading are seeking a Full Time Duty Manager to join the team. You will be required varied hours through the week from 4.35am 22.45pm.

You will also be required to be on call for 8 weeks per year and 10 weekend days a year.

The successful candidate will be required to work from Aqualink Nunawading with occasional shifts at Aqualink Box Hill.
