Overview:

Provide fire safety and security protection for Mercys coworkers patients and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission Values and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education:- High School Diploma- 18 years of age or older
• Licensure:- Valid State drivers license- Valid local state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)
• Certification/Registration:Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isnt a licensing body Completed IAHSS Basic.
• Other Skills and Knowledge:Ability to read and write the English language
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Education:College degree
  • Licensure:Valid local state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.
  • Experience:Previous Security Military or Law Enforcement experience
