Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances restricted areas and/or key access points verifying credentials when required and supporting authorized access in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Support emergency and routine operations by communicating with site personnel first responders and/or supervisors while following post orders and maintaining readiness for assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
