Job Overview
The Production Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the flow of customer orders
through the production process. This role ensures that orders are dispatched to the
appropriate production lines in alignment with material availability production capacity and
shipping schedules. The Production Dispatcher plays a key role in supporting on-time
delivery performance (Delivered as Promised and Ship Complete) and collaborates closely
with cross-functional teams to resolve order issues and maintain production continuity.
Highlights of your role
Dispatch production orders to appropriate lines based on real-time production needs truck schedules and material readiness.
Monitor ICIM for order holds errors and status changes; take corrective action to ensure timely resolution.
Track and verify skips shortages and damaged units; escalate issues per standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with Materials Production Supervisors and Logistics to ensure timely delivery of components to the floor.
Maintain accurate documentation including DDS and Dispatch notes in accordance with Manufacturing Services and Engineering requirements.
Partner with Quality Engineering and other internal teams on special projects and process improvements.
Ensure production lines are consistently supplied with work to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
Support the Demand Specialist with data entry reporting and project-based tasks as assigned.
Demonstrate reliability effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment
Also want to make sure you have
High School Diploma/GED required
Experience in Manufacturing environment required
Knowledge of ICIM required
Knowledge of ARDIS required
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Word etc.) required
Previous internal experience with Planning/Scheduling strongly preferred
