Immediate Opening: Customer Service Representative / Office Clerk

Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Job Summary

CXI Trucking is seeking a full-time Office Customer Service Representative to join our team in Melrose Park IL. This role is responsible for maintaining frequent and accurate communication with customers vendors and internal personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails from customers
• Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments
• Work closely with Dispatch and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Communicate with customers shippers carriers and agents via phone and email
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
• Complete paperwork reporting and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required
• Experience managing high call and email volume
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
• Equivalent experience will be considered
• Experience scheduling freight deliveries in the transportation industry is a strong plus

Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or equivalent
