In this role you will be responsible for setting up programming and operating an Amada press brake to form sheet metal components. You will read and interpret blueprints perform complex bends and ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards. You will also support production efficiency and assist with training junior operators.

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role and a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of press brake experience (set-up and programming)
Experience operating Amada press brakes preferred
Strong blueprint reading and understanding of tolerances
Experience with complex bends flat patterns and sheet metal forming
Ability to set up and use custom tooling (punches/dies)
Basic understanding of geometry and measurements
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and efficiency
