As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Team in Brooklyn NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas support access control activities and provide outstanding customer service and this role you help to discourage security-related incidents while staying visible and responsive. Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate at a government location serving vulnerable populations.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior areas exterior grounds entrances exits and perimeter areas as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity verify authorized entry when required and report unusual behavior maintenance concerns and other security-related issues to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Support a professional environment by interacting respectfully with staff visitors residents and/or members of the public while helping to deter unauthorized activity and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
