• 36 hours per week (guaranteed)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist General to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a critical access hospital setting. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and a patient-focused approach to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
• Select appropriate transducers and imaging techniques based on exam requirements
• Prepare and educate patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures
• Position patients effectively to capture optimal diagnostic images
• Acquire review and ensure quality and accuracy of ultrasound images
• Review patient history and clinical data prior to procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and proper image labeling
• Assist physicians during procedures when required
• Ensure patient safety privacy and comfort at all times
• Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment; report any malfunctions
• Follow infection control protocols and facility safety guidelines
• Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
• ARDMS certification preferred/required
• Experience in general ultrasound preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a rural or critical access setting
• Solid understanding of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
