Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist General to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a critical access hospital setting. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and a patient-focused approach to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
Select appropriate transducers and imaging techniques based on exam requirements
Prepare and educate patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures
Position patients effectively to capture optimal diagnostic images
Acquire review and ensure quality and accuracy of ultrasound images
Review patient history and clinical data prior to procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and proper image labeling
Assist physicians during procedures when required
Ensure patient safety privacy and comfort at all times
Monitor and maintain ultrasound equipment; report any malfunctions
Follow infection control protocols and facility safety guidelines
Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
ARDMS certification preferred/required
Experience in general ultrasound preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a rural or critical access setting
Solid understanding of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
