Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing packaging and dispensing medications
- Maintain accurate medication records inventory and controlled substance logs
- Support medication safety protocols and hospital compliance standards
- Prepare and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Ensure proper storage handling and organization of pharmaceuticals
- Assist with regulatory documentation and reporting requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace
- Support overall workflow efficiency in the pharmacy department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
- Previous pharmacy technician or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medication safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work variable 8-hour shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
