You will be part of Calix Revenue Edge product development team. You will work closely across teams at Calix (Product Line Lead Solution Test Customer Service) to deliver high-quality products. We are committed to code quality open discussion and productivity.

Responsibilities andDuties:

In this highly challenging role you will:

• Develop software components based on EXOS platform and leading-edge Wi-Fi chipsets
• Design software features perform unit and integration tests
• Research new Wi-Fi technologies

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering computer science or equivalent.
• Over 9 years of experience in embedded system software development
• Strong programming skills in C/C
• Extensive experience with Linux programs including device drivers and applications
• Extensive experience with WPA supplicant Hostapd and Radius protocol
• Extensive experience with IP networking and a good knowledge of TCP/IP
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on innovation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Self-starter who strives for results and continual improvement
• Must work well independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

• In-depth understanding of the 802.11 protocol suite and WLAN technology
• Experience on Qualcomm Broadcom MediaTek platform etc.
• Experience on Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7
• Experience on EasyMesh
