Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is a skilled CVOR Technologist to join a Level I Trauma Center in Indianapolis IN. This role supports complex cardiovascular thoracic and vascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment. First-time travel technologists with Level I trauma experience are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the CVOR suite for surgical procedures
Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular thoracic and vascular surgeries
Manage pump lines from perfusion and prepare for cannulation
Support procedures including CABG TAVR EVAR/TEVAR valve replacements and heart/lung transplants
Assist with complex surgeries such as AAA repair carotid endarterectomy VAD placement and aortic dissection procedures
Maintain strict sterile technique and operating room standards
Collaborate with surgeons perfusionists and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support Level I trauma cases in a fast-paced surgical environment
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
Schedule & Requirements
Day Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 AM 07:00 PM) FridaySunday
Call Requirement: 90120 hours per 6-week schedule
Guaranteed hours per contract
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level I trauma center
NBSTSA certification required
Current BLS certification
Strong experience in cardiovascular thoracic and vascular surgical procedures
Ability to work in high-acuity fast-paced OR environments
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with pump line management TAVR EVAR VAD and transplant procedures
Strong OR teamwork and critical thinking skills
First-time travel technologists with Level I trauma experience considered
