As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Syracuse NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing details with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas assisting with visitor direction entry-related procedures and/or reporting policy concerns to site leadership.
• Support daily operations by communicating professionally with healthcare personnel and the public following post orders and completing required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
