Rehabilitation Staff Therapist Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Staff Therapist Physical Therapist (PT) to provide effective therapy treatment and patient care in a clinical setting. This role is responsible for evaluating patients developing individualized treatment plans and delivering high-quality rehabilitation services while supporting clinical instruction and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans goals and frequency of care
• Provide effective physical therapy treatments and interventions
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Deliver clinical instruction and mentorship to students and staff
• Ensure proper use of therapy techniques modalities and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Participate in in-service education and training programs

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Licensure & Certification

• Active Nevada Physical Therapist (PT) license
• BLS certification (AHA required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent (within last 3 years) wound care experience
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care and/or rehabilitation setting
• Current wound care certification

  • Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
  • Anatomy physiology kinesiology and pathology
  • Infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to:
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Provide mentorship and clinical instruction

Work Environment

• Clinical setting with extended standing and walking
• Ability to assist/move patients (up to 100 lbs occasionally)
