Inspector General SME

Title:

KBR is seeking an Inspector General Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the STARCOM Inspector General.
• Research develop and validate STARCOM inspection plans and requirements.
• Provide Gatekeeper support to synchronize inspection activities with the Department of the Air Force Inspection Agency United States Space Force (USSF) Inspector General USSF Field Commands and STARCOM Deltas.
• Support implementation of STARCOM IG programs such as Complaints Investigations and External Evaluations/Assessments.
• Author STARCOM IG guidance instructions operating procedures manuals or similar products.
• Provide IG Team Support including managing workflow calendars records management administrator activities on IGEMS MICT and other similar systems.
• Support strategic planning and communications (i.e. SharePoint and Webpage updates).
• Maintain confidentiality while reviewing IG-related products.
• Align recommendations with established and emerging Department of the Air Force (DAF) USSF and STARCOM guidance and instructions.
• Use Government-provided systems that support IG functions such as Inspector Generals Inspection Reporting System (IGEMS) Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) task management tools and other similar fielded systems.
• Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Qualifications:

Required:

• An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
• 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities at the Headquarters level.
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders offices directorates and action officers.

Desired:

• BA/BS degree.
• Headquarters experience in the US Space Force US Air Force Combatant Command Field Command or equivalent.
• Familiarity with US Space Force mission.

40hrs

• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
