Key job responsibilities
Lead and manage strategic projects end-to-end ensuring alignment with business objectives timelines and quality standards
Build comprehensive documents (narratives business cases project updates) to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Partner with cross-functional teams across different countries to drive alignment and deliver results on complex initiatives
Support the design and implementation of new operational models identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability
Conduct benchmarking analysis across regions and industries to identify best practices and innovative solutions
Track monitor and report on strategic project progress providing regular updates and actionable insights to leadership
Identify risks dependencies and roadblocks proactively developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
Influence stakeholders at multiple levels without direct authority building consensus and driving decision-making
Develop frameworks and mechanisms that can be scaled and replicated across the organization
Collaborate with local and international teams to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across markets
About the team
The Trans Execution BR team at AMZL Brazil is a newly established high-impact function responsible for the end-to-end management of Brazils delivery network. Our scope encompasses capacity planning demand forecasting scheduling and route optimization and risk management across all delivery channels. We are building this team from the ground up with a mission to transform a highly manual Excel-driven process into a scalable automated and data-driven operation that serves the full spectrum of Amazons delivery models in Brazil.
We operate in a fast-paced ambiguous environment where operational rigor and innovative thinking go hand in hand. We are part of a global community of Trans Execution teams with counterparts in Japan India and other geographies and we actively collaborate across borders to share best practices and co-develop technology solutions. Our team is growing rapidly and we are looking for people who are excited to build something new solve hard problems and make a measurable impact on Amazons delivery network in Brazil.
- Experience in program or project management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including: pivot tables macros index/match vlookup VBA data links etc.
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Bachelors degree in business engineering operations supply chain transportation logistics
- MBA or Masters degree
- Experience in driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in project management including resource planning managing schedules reporting project status and prioritizing tasks
- Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
