Job Summary

Job Description:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Responsibilities:

Instructional strategies
Student growth and development
Classroom management and organization
Communication
Professional growth and development

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct the work of the assigned instructional aide
Technology skills preferred
Other duties assigned

Experience:

One-year student teaching or approved internship.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Physical Education Teachers: Current automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate
Willingness to grow professionally
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills required
