Sanitation Technician II

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform more complex cleaning and sanitizing tasks such as deep cleaning of production areas specialized equipment cleaning and application of specific sanitizing agents.
• Monitor and maintain sanitation supplies inventory ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
• Operate a wide range of cleaning equipment including specialized machinery and tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure adherence to sanitation standards and identify areas needing attention.
• Adhere to all safety regulations company policies and sanitation standards (e.g. HACCP GMP).
• Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or sanitation concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables adhering to environmental regulations.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

• Proficient in operating a variety of cleaning equipment including specialized machinery such as floor scrubbers high-pressure washers and steam cleaners.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and sanitation standards (e.g. OSHA HACCP GMP).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold environments.

Hours of Work:

• Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 5:30pm
• Saturday: 7am-3:30am

Wage:

• $22.62 to start
