Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key contributor to their accounting team supporting month-end close financial reporting and integration of newly acquired entities. This role offers exposure to consolidation acquisition accounting and cross-functional initiatives making it ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in public accounting looking to grow in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own key components of the month-end close including journal entries reconciliations and variance analysis
Prepare and support financial statements including balance sheet income statement and cash flow
Assist with financial consolidations across multiple entities
Support purchase accounting and integration of newly acquired entities
Partner with external auditors and advisors on audit and tax compliance
Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
Support onboarding and integration of new entities into shared services processes
Contribute to system enhancements automation initiatives and ad hoc projects
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and financial visibility
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
35 years of accounting experience preferably in public accounting
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience in multi-entity environments or consolidations preferred
ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyze large datasets
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
