Job Summary
Wheaton Bible Church is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Spanish Translator to support our ministry communications. This role will help ensure our Spanish-speaking community can fully engage with church resources and events.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials from English to Spanish (and occasionally Spanish to English) including:
- Ministry communications
- Event promotions
- Printed materials and digital content
- Ensure translations are accurate culturally appropriate and aligned with the tone and values of WBC
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines for assigned projects
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
- Familiarity with church/ministry language and context preferred
- Prior translation experience strongly preferred
- Acceptance and agreement with WBC Statement of Doctrine and Faith and WBC Statement of Christian Lifestyle
- Currently involved in the life and ministry at Wheaton Bible Church preferred
This is a contract project-based role with flexible will be based on project scope and agreed-upon rates.
