Job Summary

Wheaton Bible Church is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Spanish Translator to support our ministry communications. This role will help ensure our Spanish-speaking community can fully engage with church resources and events.

Responsibilities:

Translate written materials from English to Spanish (and occasionally Spanish to English) including:
- Ministry communications
- Event promotions
- Printed materials and digital content
Ensure translations are accurate culturally appropriate and aligned with the tone and values of WBC
Meet agreed-upon deadlines for assigned projects

Qualifications:

Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Familiarity with church/ministry language and context preferred
Prior translation experience strongly preferred
Acceptance and agreement with WBC Statement of Doctrine and Faith and WBC Statement of Christian Lifestyle
Currently involved in the life and ministry at Wheaton Bible Church preferred

This is a contract project-based role with flexible will be based on project scope and agreed-upon rates.
