Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Millwright to join our Field Technical Solutions team in Pasadena Texas. This is a 100% field-based role supporting operations maintenance and monitoring (OMM) activities for a pre-injection treatment system. You will troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems support compliance-related inspections and sampling and coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Were looking for a safety-focused dependable team member who is eager to learn works well with others and can operate independently once trained.

Role accountabilities:
This position consists of 100% field work providing operations maintenance and monitoring (OMM) activities for a pre-injection treatment system. The Millwright will perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting support routine monitoring and inspections and complete work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment. On-the-job training will be provided.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Monitor troubleshoot maintain repair and optimize pumps and associated mechanical systems.
- Routinely monitor and inspect the boiler system.
- Perform minor welding repairs on treatment system components as needed.
- Perform inspections and routine checks for facility permit compliance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
- Support field implementation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and controls systems.
- Use hand and power tools to change fittings flanges filters and gauges.
- Sampling associated with treatment system (influent/effluent) and other types of compliance discharge sampling.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors for field projects and repairs as required.
Key Attributes:
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints associated with pumping systems and associated equipment.
- General welding ability.
- Document site activities and notes and communicate updates to the project team.
- Read and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work independently and solve problems with guidance from subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed.
- Ability to work 100% in the field.
- Work a 12-hour shift schedule including weekends holidays evenings and emergency on-call coverage.
- Capable of physical activity including lifting and/or carrying weights up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required qualifications
- 1 years of Millwright experience (or similar mechanical experience).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas Drivers License with a clear driving record
- TWIC card (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word Excel)
Preferred qualifications
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- ARC Flash NFPA 70E Training or Certification

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $$26.54/hr-$39.81/hr. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
