A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANUFACTURING PRODCUTION SCHEDULER
Each day you will work on a computer entering data and scheduling work using Microsoft Office suite software and other specific software relative to the building component industry. This includes the following:
Jigging floors and roofs and/or walls and stairs
Instruct loaders how to load trailers and print loaders paperwork
Print tags
Using Bistrack order special materials
May include uploading drivers pictures and completed loads in Bistrack
May include timber mill cut material lists
Miscellaneous duties as needed
Get marked jobs built
Go through each schedule and determine what is complete
*Construction knowledge and/or component manufacturing experience a plus!
Qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word Outlook Excel
Knowledge of Sketch-up and Bistrack software preferred but not required
Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
Ability to manage data filing
Must be self-motivated and have initiative to carry out tasks
Able to work as part of a team
Effective organizational and communication skills
Able to work under deadlines prioritize tasks and multi-task
Must be at least 18 years old and speak fluent English
High School Diploma preferred
