VMWare HW RedHat Engineer

Inbox Business Technologies is hiring a VMWare / HW / RedHat Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations for a project-based engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in virtualization Linux system administration and infrastructure support with the ability to manage production environments and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

VMWare / Virtualization

• Install configure and manage VMware vSphere (ESXi vCenter) environments
• Perform VM provisioning cloning snapshots and migrations (vMotion)
• Configure and manage High Availability (HA) DRS clusters
• Monitor and optimize resource utilization (CPU memory storage)
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning

Linux (RedHat) Administration

• Install configure and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers
• Perform patching upgrades and system hardening
• Manage users groups permissions and security policies
• Monitor system logs and troubleshoot OS-level issues

Infrastructure & Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware OS and virtualization issues
• Support incident problem and change management processes (ITIL)
• Work on production environments with minimal downtime
• Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution and deployments

Monitoring & Tools

• Work with monitoring/logging tools
• Use ticketing systems like ServiceNow JIRA Remedy
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with VMware technologies and RHEL
• Strong understanding of system administration and virtualization concepts
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident Problem Change Management)
• Experience with ticketing systems

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of hardware/infrastructure environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze logs system errors and performance issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
